Metalworking, like many other areas of the manufacturing sector, is under extreme pressure to increase efficiency and productivity while reducing costs in order to innovate and compete globally. Artificial intelligence (AI) has a lot of potential to achieve these goals by automating areas like predictive maintenance, process optimization, anomaly detection and workplace safety. However, as Dynam.AI’s Diana Shapiro and Dimitry Fisher write, many industry leaders have learned that not all AI is created equal.
With its patent pending CAML technology, Dynam.AI has an “unfair advantage” over its competitors in the data analytics and machine learning space.

Dynam.AI today said its Context Augmented Machine Learning, or CAML, software capability is now available. CAML uses what the company called “scientific first principles” and the laws of physics, human behavior, and macroeconomic conditions for more accurate models and analytics. Dynam.AI has partnered with industrial drone provider American Robotics, which uses artificial intelligence and CAML to detect and identify potential oil and gas leaks.
Dynam’s Adaptive AI and Simulation systems include Context-augmented machine learning (CAML) capable of producing trained AI models that can understand subject matter expertise which is critical in replicating human-like predictive reasoning. Examples of relevant subject matter expertise includes propensity to trigger human behavior, biology markers for disease, and economic factors that impact supply/demand. understand subject matter expertise and use this knowledge to interpret data and make critical predictions and recommendations.
